Ritter Mini-Grip: Action not so smooth...

I just received my Yellow Ritter mini-RSK Mk1 and I have to say I am kind of disappointed at the action on it.... The blade is not as free swinging as on my 556.

Anyone else notice this?

Do I just need to play with it a little and break in the washers at the pivot?
 
Play with the pivot, or just keep opening it and closing it. If that don't work then call up Benchmade.
 
I have messed with the pivot and can get the blade to be very free-swinging. But when I loosen the pivot that much I get blade play which IHATE
 
I think it's because the blade on the Ritter is lighter.
 
try loosing the pivot some , oil the pivot and blade , then open it and close it for awhile
