I just received 2 Ritter RSK Mk5s - one for me and one for my daughter (she's 8).

While I love the size and the design these are overwhelming the dullest knives I've received!! They are at least as blunt as my butter knives. I'm not sure they could break skin without significant force. When jabbing them through paper and cutting down ward the paper folds over on itself (there is no chance it would cut from the top!).

Did I get a bad batch? Would you send them back? Should I just buck down and spend several hours sharpening the smallest blades I own?

Thoughts?

Normally I'd send it back but it's such a small knife I think you could sharpen it up fast.

Please contact CRKT at 1-800-891-3100 and I am sure they will take care of this.

Mine was the same. But for the price, I would have spent more on shipping to and from than it was actually worth. So I just sharpened it myself. Though I find it dulls out fairly quickly anyway, so sending it back would probably be pointless.
