Have you noticed the Benchmade 527 Mini-Presidio? The blade shape looks more Ritter than Ritter's does. It's a sweet looking knife. I'm not too jazzed about the handle, but the blade is fantastic. Anyone notice this before? Any experiences with this knife? I can't post links with my account, but check out streetmaster63's youtube video on it. Strange, though, that the full-size Presidio's blade seems so different... not really appealing at all to me.

You're right... and I hadn't noticed.

Probably never took a close look at the knife as I am pretty much through with 440c.

The "Ritter" blade shape isn't particularly novel, though. The blade shape is pretty basic, really. But that relatively high grind makes a great cutter.

I'll take the Ritter Grip. I prefer to have my thumb resting on the spine of the blade. It just helps to get a better feel when you are cutting. I'm also going to guess that the Ritter has a much thinner edge thickness (.015" on mine) for more efficient cutting.
