I was lucky to locate a small version of the River of Fire Sebenza.

Just need the Mnandi to complete the series. :)

Those are BEAUTIFUL! ! I will hopefully be a owner of a sebenza this year. I can't wait! !

I'm not a fan of Damascus, just prefer the look of polished steel.
The river of fire sebenzas Damascus though... WOW! Absolutely stunning!

Beautiful! In my opinion ..... one of the best Damascus patterns. The only close second would be Randy Haas feather Damascus. But that's just the way I flow. Hmmm? Flow? River of fire? Maybe one day!!

I find it interesting that the "river" seems to flow in opposite directions on each knife.

Beautiful knives. Congrats

Dare I ask what these variants go for? The "usual" Damascus stuff is $600-700 it seems.

It's the limited number of this series in addition to the unique Damascus and inlays that make them collectable.

There were only 10 large Sebenzas, 17 small Sebenzas and 17 Mnandis produced.

That makes it difficult to calculate a value.

FYI, the knife in your avatar is one of the finest I have ever seen. Scott can really make a masterpiece!. Of course he learned at the side of another master.

You paid a price for those knives and that's what I asked. I realize they're quite rare. I love the river of fire pattern, but not at any price. I'd love to get one some day, but not if it's a $2000 knife. You dodged my question quite eloquently. :D

... or maybe don't want the significant other to find out what you spent. THAT I can totally identify with :D

Congrats MVG! Very special pieces, I hope you find your trifecta.

I actually did a trade on this one. No cash involved...

To answer your question, expect a price range of 1200.00 to 1500.00.

No worries about my wife, she is fully informed about the cost of all my purchases. :D
