Bill,

Can't thank you enough for your generous hospitality today while visiting your shop!! It was amazing to witness a chunk of wood be crafted into a working piece of art. Pictures don't do your craftsmanship justice. I tried taking a few just to show off your amazing handle work, but these attached pics just don't capture the true magic and wizardry you weave into each blade you create. Thanks again Bill for a great time!!

Damn, I mean, that is one sharp looking knife (pardon the play on words). BA, you and those dark wood handles, just something about them . . . .
Marc, very cool design, both blade and handle, and then throw in BA's craftsmanship with steel & wood, hell, it's a win-win situation . . .
Congratulations to both of you, excellent work all the way around . . . .
Be safe.

Man, the sun really sets of that redwood. Nice design Riverwarrior, great job as always Bill.

There's a bunch of "WOW" factor goin' off there!!

Nice design Marc, which turned into on beautiful knife, Bill............

Unique......never a bad thing......;).

Thank you all for the very kind words. It was truly an awesome experience to be at the shop and watch this design come to life. The most amazing part was picking out the block of redwood burl and watching the process that took it from a dusty piece of wood chunk to a polished handle that looks like a marble art piece that should be displayed in a museum. Of course, all of you that already own one of Bill's creations know exactly what I'm talking about;)

Well, I'm off to the museum to view my "Backwoods" knives...cause they're too purdy to git durty......:D Just kidding, I'm about to inflict some thunderous abuse on them today:eek::D:thumbup:

Now thats a good thing:thumbup:

Awesome knife Riverwarrior! Bill is fun to watch, huh

Hi Riverwarrior -

Beautiful! I like the design of the blade. The handle, while show-piece beautiful, still looks like it is very functional.

Well done, Mr. Bacus.

Thanks for the pictures, gentlemen.

best regards -

Hey Bill!!!!!!!!

I thought that I had a patent on that background tree..................

Nice work buddy.......seems that the custom order business is movin' slow these days..................:D:D.

Now that you know I know my stuff from a few days back, send me a few and I'll put them together for ya.............

Now where was that duct tape and JB Weld......?

Mag,u should start making mosaic pins! theres alot of money in them bro!!

I'm retired.......;).

Kind of like when my wife says, "NO means NO, not maybe!!"...........:D:D.

Riverwarrior, make sure you post some pics of the "thunderous abuse" when you inflict it ok ??? ??? ???
Took me almost two months before I could bring myself to put the blade BA made for me into a chunk of wood . . . . then I swear, I almost felt like closing my eyes because I didn't want to watch . . . . then thought better of it . . . . ;)
Great looking knife once again, kudos to both you and BA on this one . . . .
Be safe.
