Here's the latest and greatest from the JK workshop... The Riverwoods Companion.
I've only had this knife for a couple of days, but it's already become my new favorite. The 4" handle fills the hand nicely and the 3" blade in 1/8" O1 is stout enough for just about anything. It's very nicely balanced and has a nice heft to it.
The design is sort of Bird & Trout meets EDC. It fits my KSF pocket sheath very nicely for back pocket carry. This knife has seen limited use so far, but has proven itself well it the kitchen as a fine slicer. It handles like your favorite paring knife on steroids.
I think the pattern of this knife would also work well in a 3/32" version or with a scandi grind. It's just a very handy size with a very useful blade shape and if you're a fan of the medium sized drop point you'll love it.
