I'm looking to make a Kydex imitation of Gary's awesome leather Buck 112 sheath, mainly because I don't have the time, money, or tools to work with leather right now.

My main question is how best to fasten 3 and 4 sheets of .060 kydex together, I'm going to probably use a combination of E-weld and Rivets, but I'm not really sure what rivets to get. I know #6-6 rivets are for 2 layers of .060, and I'm guessing I could use #6-10 rivets for 4 layers (usually for 2 layers of .125), but I'm kinda stumped on what to use for 3 layers of .06, and whether I really could use the #6-10 rivets for four layers of .060.

Thanks

#6-10 for 4 pieces and #6-9 for three will be fine (though I'd use 8 over 6 if you plan on attaching anything like belt loops). If you're not gonna be using more than a single bag total and you have a straight based grinder, you can just get the #6-10 and shorten part of 'em yourself. They'll still press fine.

thanks for the advice, I do have a grinder, so that will probably be the easiest way to get this done cheap
