The blade is forged from 1/4 inch thick 1065 with a distal taper and tapered tang. The OAL is 12 inches. The handle is walnut wood and woven cotton cord wrapping, sealed with shellac and natural wood rosins. The scabbard is mahogany sealed with shellac and natural wood rosin.

I really like the wrappings for grip. They also hide the pins and break the tang line visually. It does get a bit tedious tying them though...
