RJ Martin..Convex Edge to V Grind

I just got an RJ Martin Trooper with a convex edge. The first owner changed

the edge from a v grind to a convex edge. I want to bring the edge back to

the a v grind.

I dont have a belt grinder and cant get the convex edge as sharp as Id like it

with a mouse pad and sandpaper.

What do I have to do to change the edge back to a v grind. I only have a

Sharpmaker and a couple of flat stones.

I could send the knife back to RJ but I not to wild about spending $27 to

sent it back to him.

Any good advice is welcome. Thanks.
 
Where about in MI are you.



Basically you just take a coarse stone and grind until you get the desired bevel.
 
I got a pm from RJ on Jerzee Devil. Im going to send to him and have him

bring it back to a scary sharp v grind. The way the blade originally sharpened.
