There are two typing errors in RKS newsletter #56 on page 3. These mistakes were made by me, Rhett Stidham, and were submitted correctly by Joe Dorsky, in his original document. I failed to proof read the article for exact transposing from Microsoft Word to the antique program I use to make copy for the newsletter. Sorry fellows for the aggravation. A special apology to Joe Dorsky.
The corrections: The correct dates - 1) first paragraph, page 3, second sentence should be "One is a 1950's vintage Solingen blade with the hallmark on the ricasso......." 2) third paragraph, page 3, first sentence should be "The first 18's using the Solingen blades with the vertical hallmark (1950's vintage) on the ricasso are full tang knives." Please note these corrected dates and maybe hand write them into your copy of the newsletter.
This is a very excellent article on Model 18's by fellow member Joe Dorsky.
