Didn't see any Whitetails this year but had the chance to try out my new Ratmandu. Arrived VERY quickly and sharp. Had the Kydex sheath ready for the weekend:

The axe is a better chopper but the RMD is a better "knife" :)

Thanks for the posting. I havn't used my RMD for hunting but I took it on a deep sea fishing trip a few years and was very impressed with cleaning Salmon and Halibut with it.

The RMD is not only a good general duty camp knife but also does well for dressing game.

I just got my HR in the mail today and it looks like it has the making of another great game knife.
