Ok, so this is my first attempt(dont laugh) at a leather sheath. If fits my RMD beautifully. I hope to get better the more I make. Made from 9oz leather, and dyed light brown(kinda dark for light brown but that is what the bottle said). Made this one left handed since I carry my H&K USPC 40 on my right side. Let me know what you guys think. Any and all tips, trick, or comments welcome! I actually had lots of fun making it.

Looks very sturdy and well made. Did you make your belt as well?

No I did not make that belt. I have made several belts from paracord though. I did make the belt buckle on that belt which you can't see in that picture.

The sheath is very sturdy I have been wearing it all day and it rides nicely even while driving.

What a great first try , looks really good . If it works well for you and fits the knife to your liking what more do you need . Thanks for showing us your work.

Looks like a great sheath, really really good for a first time. You must have put a lot of thought into it. The only thing I can see to suggest is bevelling the corners. Nice job!

you told me not to laugh.....but im afraid im going to replace laughing with applauding because that's a very well done sheath! especially for a first time! :)

Thanks for the comments guys! I just finished drawing up one for my HRLM, it is going to look similar in design, but I think I will do a british Tan color on that one and maybe try some tooling as well. I have some ideas for a more squared look for my Rodent Solution that will be after the HRLM. I will post some pictures when I am done.
