Wow!!! I just got a bunch of RMD's in and some colors I haven't had for a while. The pic below is what I currently have available. If you are interested you can purchase at www.shop.ratknives.com

I just ordered one this evening. I've been looking for a few weeks but I just haven't pulled the trigger until tonight. I scored a Regulator at the Ganzaaa but this is my first Swamp Rat.

I'm thinking of going with the Specs Ops sheath for this. I usually prefer leather for my sheaths but I just really like the look of that set up. I like the versatility for this particular knife.

I ordered just now, I didnt know Tan w/tanker gray was an option. Anyway you can update my order to reflect tan w/tanker gray?

I hope they saw this before the order went out, looks like mine was shipped this morning:eek:. I'll be happy either way. Now, to go pre-order some more...

EDIT: Got the confirmation email, I got tanker gray and tan!

Sure wish you could buy the orange and black handles, but from other posts here, it doesnt look like she is all that common. I can wish though. Hopefully one or two will show up on the exchange at some point. Love that color combo though, and of course love the RMD. What a great knife though-whatever color combos you end up getting.
 
I ordered two to give as gifts. One is going to a nephew of mine that is graduating from college at the end of the Spring. He is a big hiker/backpacker and I know he will love the RMD; pretty sure he doesn't have anything like the quality of a Swamp Rat. He's taking a big hiking trip for his Spring Break so he'll get his gift a little early.

Make sure you're ready to remold the plastic as the Spec Ops sheaths are made to fit 1/4" stock or a smideon bigger.
 
I have two RMD's and havn't used one for a while. I pulled one out today, used it for cutting some stuff and was reminded again that this is one of the best knife designs around. I love the balance and practicality of this knife.
 
Mine should be at home - along with a few other packages I have coming. Today must be mail day. LOL
 
Mine came today and I must say it again - "I love this knife!" Alan ensured the edges were awesome. Thanks to the Swamp Rat team.
