Hi guys I had a Rmj Shrike before, I really liked it and thinking about getting another one. But the Eagle Talon has also caught my eye which one do you guys prefer thanks for the help.

I put my order in for a shrike.... just like the proportions of it better. Plus it is hammer forged.

Depends on your application. Personally I love the shrike. The talon is much larger and heavier and does not offer electrical insulation.

I have the S13 and this summer picked up a Kestrel feather. To be honest, I prefer the Kestrel feather, but they both have their pros and cons.

The shrike has a "girthier" grip -- some complain that the Talon is too thin in the grip.
The Talon is longer, heavier, and can hit harder. It's also more difficult to transport because of these factors.
The Shrike offers insulation against electrical shock, the Talon does not.
Neither is light enough to be a good CQB hawk.

I think the Talon would make a slightly better woods tool. For eveything else (like breaching, what they were designed for) the Shrike is the better choice, even though I prefer the looks of the Talon.
