On ebay there is a Randall that is advertised as a Viet Nam era British Commando. It looks like a Fairbain/Sykes.

Is this the real deal?

Thanks

For a few years these knives were offered through the Randall catalog with a Johnson made sheath. The knives were not made by Randall but British made.

From 1968 catalog it reads:

British Commando Knife-6-3/4 inch blade. 5" handle. Made in England, this is the knife that won the fame as the weapon of the British Commandos in World War II. (wt. 9oz.).

Handle and blade chromium plated ... $13.50
Original black Parkerized finish ... $5.00
Model B hand-made sheath available.
This sheath would have been $4.50.
