Roach belly for wilderness use?

I've been trying to design an EDC type blade that will also be a good woods knife. One of my designs is a roach belly and I'm kinda likin' it so wanted to know if there are any drawbacks to this style. Lets see if I can get a pic up. Blade is 3" long by 1/8" by 1" wide at it's widest.

That's funny, he's the guy I was thinking about having make it. Can't afford to get one right now though but that'll give me time to sus out the design.

That's almost identical to the one I have drawn. I guess I'm not as original as I like to think I am.:D
 
I had a knife made for me by G.L. Drew which is mostly a roach bellyand it works great. Very useful pattern in the woods. Good point and lots of useful belly.
