Roach Belly style blade opinions wanted.

I like the roach belly design in general, and prefer it for my main backpacking knife. Just curious if others have opinions on its strengths and weaknesses.
 
Well...that thread is rather focused on the Cold Steel Roach Belly, rather than the design in general.
