Our company just started today at our new facility, we moved from one that the company had been in since the mid 60's so it is quite a change for everyone, I've worked there 35 years, some over 40 so driving to a new place, about 14 miles away from the old place, is a little traumatic but, things change. I saw this the other day as we were moving some things up there and today's bright sunshine had me swing by and take a photo...now, if you guys and gals have interesting road signs, feel free to post them here but please keep it clean as we do have younger folks that frequent this forum too.

I always thought that this was joke, but it actually happened more than once.

Never under estimate a cemetary !! One of my amateur radio friends rode around each morning exploring his new area . Transmitting as he drove ,we always knew when he was by the cemetary-his signal significantly increased !
I heard a story about a Vermont undertaker . He always preceeded the coffin at burial with a few shovels of manure -- to help the soul to rise !!

How the sign increases your safety, I don't know being bigfoot seems pretty able to avoid getting hit.

Not sure where this one is, but we have signs like these...

Now that is funny!!! I know EXACTLY where that sign is! :D
Its at the corner of Neptune Ave. & Grandview St. in Encinitas, CA. right off the 101.

I thought it was Encinitas, but wasn't sure. It's fancier than most such signs.

Much like the local Muskoka dentist here had inscribed on his tombstone ... "I have filled my last cavity"

Here's one I photographed in Australia.

Not my photo but I've seen this in SanDiego.

There are billions of magpies in Australia, like crows or robins in the USA. What traumatic experience must have occurred to prompt this sign!

Hey Jill,

I've motored about a lot in Canada and in the States ... but, humbly asked, this sign needs some explaining to me Would you be so kind? Appreciated, Susan

I would say it means, flashers are known to flash motorists along that part of the road. Much like the bigfoot sighting sign I posted, I suppose it's a courtesy, so a driver wouldn't be startled and lose control.

Not really "road signs" but some artwork by the local road crew. I missed photographing some more before the highway was repaved.
