Connie was off work yesterday, so we took one of our "One Tank Road Trips." We drove 80 miles west on I-80, then came home on Rte 6, stopping along the way in all the towns.

Found these maple grips in Utica for $15.

Found this SwissBuck (a little bigger than the one I found a few months ago), in Ottawa for $5.

Found this old stock Case (new, no box) in a hardware store in Marseilles for $32.

The wife and I used to do a lot of those before the kids were born. Started one as a weekend drive to camp outside of Minnetonka and wound up in South Dakota for 2 weeks. Best trip ever.

sounds like fun, John, we haven't been driving around like we use dot, hopefully we might take a drive soon to,

great finds to!

Great finds! I have the exact same Case Texas Jack. It is one of my favorite pocket knives. Is yours stainless or CV?

Nice finds. I love the grips and the Texas Jack is a definite winner.

It`s stainless. They had both size yellow trappers in CV, and a small single blade (peanut maybe?) in Damascus there too.
