SATURDAY there is a get together at USA Made Blade on Main in Salisbury North Carolina.... A great will be had by all if last years shindig is any indicator.... starts at one and goes til six..... food, drinks, demos and good company...... check the website for more details and who else will be there or just head that way on Saturday....

I do hope to see a bunch of you there....

It has been too long .... I get a kind of burn out at times and I feel I really have too little worthwhile to say.... After the gathering I had talked so much about knife stuff I was kinda toungue tied..... Anyhoos I am over THAT crap so watch out....LOL.... Good to be tapping away..... e

I was worried about ya. Guess I should have called.
 
Well, I started this in the lobby of the hotel with a cup of coffee and waiting for Todd and Jarrod hunt to grab a bite of breakfast before getting on the road and cogitating on a great day Yesterday...... Scott at USAmadeblades is a damn good host and a really fine group of designers took shameless advantage of his hospitality.... Andy Roy, Rick Hinderer, Mark Carey from Spartan ,Todd Hunt and Chris from Southern Grind.... I am missing somebody here.... old age.....

There was quite a crowd, about twice last years, and include some familiar faces and a few new ones.... Rebel Nimrod and his friend Michael and I spent a bit of time..... Very good guy that Nimrod..... Good times, Good Times....

I stayed up well past bed time booth nights and crawled in the door a bit ago..... A hell of a great weekend....

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo....I was just in the area but am now back in Florida. Brb going to tell my wife to stop cutting onions next to me. :eek:

Having little worthwhile to say has never stopped me - and you're indulgent at a very gracious level.

All kidding aside, I don't tickle the keys with regular frequency either but, unlike me, you have a of breadth experience and depth of insight largely unrivaled in areas of great interest on this board - especially this sub-forum. Put differently, what may be old hat to you is a new suit to many of us.

I truly regret missing the last Gathering; next time maybe have your people coordinate schedules with my people. LOL ;)

It was the first time I had been to that shop and it was great! Of course the highlight for me was getting to meet Mr. Becker! What a nice down to earth, sincere gentleman you are.
Unfortunately he is a man of his word.....I tried my best to even get a hint at what awesome blade might be released next...nope, guess we will have to wait. Haha!

Thanks again Mr. Becker for the time and energy you give back to your customers and fans!
