Well, the car is ready and I'm ready and we are off to Reno. Pray that my lead foot behaves itself driving the hundreds of miles across the desert :eek: :D Because you know that if I drive the road conditions....ie....100mph....the man will be waiting for me. So I'll be good. Looking forward to this trip.

I still remember Howard and I drove to Reno once for the khukuri convention in 2002. We had a lot of fun. We met Uncle Bill, Yangdu, Rusty.... It was my first time to meet Uncle Bill and Rusty :) , and it was the last time to see them too :(

Keep it at no more than 70mph out on the Interstate and you shouldn't have any trouble with the cops. Enjoy your trip.

This is Gin, I didn't think to check who was logged in.....LOL

We arrived safe and sound. Kept it under the sound of speed so had no trouble. It was 920 miles with one minor detour. But we had a great time. The visit with Mary was wonderful. What a great lady she is. My trunk is now filled with about 60 swords and knives and other assorted toys that you might like. I do hope we can help her out with this. She needs a new roof she found out this week. You know how that is. Well, we are visiting, thanks for the thoughts and we will be around. I'll give an extra hug from you all. :D

Glad you made it safe and sound Gin.:D I've been out of sorts the last couple of days but finally got around to answering your email.

With all those khukuris and swords in your possesion you'll really have to be careful on the way home.:p ;) :D

I was worried about getting a ticket and having to explain what I was doing with all those. I think on the way home we will avoid the Hoover Dam scene since you are subject to a car search. Now that wouldn't be fun at all :eek:

Yangdu and Pala and I are going to inventory them and take pics so we can get someone to tell us what some of them even are. Then we will figure out the prices and go from there. There is quite a pile in the kitchen :eek: There are some really interesting pieces of steel out here...really interesting.
