Alright it's been some time since I last posted here. Well me and some friends are planning a road trip this upcoming summer from Florida to California. I was wondering what would be a good knife to bring. I was thinking a max of 2 knifes a good multi tool and a folder any suggestions for both. We wont be doing any camping due to the women who prob want to sleep in hotels . And since this is my first road trip any suggestion on other things to bring electronics, etc.
Thanks

also not related but I am currently working on making my first knife its a folding karambit style.

I have done quite a bit of roads trips from AZ to B.C and Alberta. If your not camping then i would just stick with some "just in case" items. For a folder, you can't go wrong with a SAK and I don't have a whole lot of experience with multi-tools, but my leatherman blast has everything I need in a multi-tool.

Make sure to toss extra water in the vehicle and some reserve rations, again "just in case". An emergency road kit is a must. A GPS and detailed route plans are helpful and provide a copy to someone that is staying back home.

Electronics - a fun and cheap game to play in the car is 20 questions. I also like to take a DVD player for those boring hotel nights. Can't go wrong with a handheld game system like a nintendo DS or PSP.

Good luck and have fun.

Also, put up some pics of your knife.
