The CQC-7 was the first 2nd tactical knife I ever purchased. It is indeed a classic.

I remember fondling a BM970sTi more than 10 years ago and from then I was hooked on the ugly stealth bomber blades. :D

The Roadhouse is one of the first designs I've see that I just instantly fell in love with. I'll eventually get one, but right now I've got my sights set on the mini 7.

Does anyone know the weight of the Roadhouse? Can't find it anywhere.

MAKER: Ernest Emerson
BLADE SIZE: 3.750"
TOTAL SIZE: 8.9"
CLOSED SIZE: 5.15"
BLADE MATERIAL: Stainless 154CM Steel
HANDLE: Textured Black G-10
LINERS: Titanium
SPACER: Black G-10
WEIGHT: 5.7 oz.

IMO the Roadhouse makes the 7 redundant.

I love the Roadhouse. # 009 is tucked IWB into my shorts right now. However there are places I go where a 7 is easier to conceal and more sheeple friendly.

I believe there is plenty of room for both :)

I agree, I love my Roadhouse but will never give up my CQC 7.
