Rob Davidson Bowie

Just received this Bowie from Rob Davidson (Rocket Knives):
Almost 13" OAL; 440-Stainless 8" x 2" x 1/4" thick blade;
Stainless Guard, handle piece & butt cap; Curly Maple with stainless pins. A long time in the waiting but it couldn't have arrived at a better time!
With the forums down, I got to play with my camera & its' software. Just getting into the 'things' you can do!

What a massive knife. I prefer more svelte lines on a bowie, but this one does look well made.

Keith, you're partially correct! The blade is only 8" long, but the 2" width makes it seem massive. It must just be a phase I'm going through; I'm trying to draw them up around 1 1/2" - 1 3/4" wide now. I do enjoy the 'weight' behind the blade. If I can't cut 'em, I can always 'whack' 'em. Rob takes his time with his knives & this Bowie was not one of his regular offerings. I'm very pleased with his construction of this little 'Beast'!
