Many of you will remember my post in the Gallery about his 'Boar Hunter' knife. 'Boar Hunter' thread

Well, this transaction has put me in dialog with Rob, and he thanks me for the exposure he has since garnished off of it. It seems you BF guys pay attention and make a difference!!

Rob lives in the sticks and has little web exposure--(His 28.8 modem locked up when I sent him one of his own pics!) So I decided to do a little 'C. Robbin Hudson tribute page' in my Webshots album.

Rob sent me his catalog (which reads like a great novel!) and included a large file of personal pics. All of which I agreed to send back. While I had them I took digital photo's and posted them for others to see. He couldn't be more appreciative. Hey, that's what KnifeNuts are for!

Robs knives are on my definitely "want list".

The Gugliotti sounds like one crazy Italian.
 
Rob is a tremendous craftsman... his damascus is especially amazing.

I'm sure he appreciates the publicity, and I/we the pics!

He's a tremendously nice guy to talk with. When I spoke with him at the 2000 Guild Show, he was backlogged something horrific... like 4-5 years. Did he give you a current update on his backlog?

...not as daunting as is thought. He told me he's taking on all comers right now. I'll let him give you an approximate date, but from what he mentioned, his work is not as unavailable as you would think. (Hint hint);)

I know I'M in there for a damascus Bowie someday! Of course you'll all know about it when it arrives.

I now have a great source of wallpaper for my monitor. I can't stop looking at his knives and studying how they just plain FLOW!!!!!
