Got this second one a few months ago for AU $334.77 (US$363)

11" hidden tang damascus hatchet ground from best USA made 512 layer ladder pattern damascus 1095, 15N20 & 1075 with 2% nickel billet damascus. The blade has been oil quenched and tempered to RC 58-60.
His custom knives have been shown at knife shows around the world and appeared in well known knife magazines such as Coltelli.
The handle is made from stabilized and dyed Australian myrtle burl. Mother of pearl cap made from raw shell cut by RP in his workshop. File worked down the back of the blade and the whole hatchet has been hand sanded down to 2000 grit and polished on the lap wheel to a mirror finish. It also has a mosaic pin securing the tang and a mosaic thong hole, leather lanyard cord with a hand made mother of pearl choker bead.
Came in hand made leather sheath made by RP from A grade Australian leather, wax stitched then finished with neats foot oil and waterproofed.
