Hey everyone hope you are well

I am a fairly new member and have only recently heard of Rob and seen some of Robs' work, and can not find much information online. I was hoping since this a very closed knit community you could share any stories or experiences that you have had with him.

I appreciate the help & take care

Jerry Hossom wrote the most eloquent remembrance of Rob for the Strider Calendar with:

"How many men when they die can truthfully say, 'I lived as I wished. I loved. I fought and bear scars as witness. I touched many lives and made them better. I printed my name on steel of my making, weapons for battles yet fought. And though my body rests in the soil of my ancestors, warmed by the love of those I left behind, my spirit lives on. We will meet again.' Rob Simonich lived a life all can admire, and few can emulate. We lost a dear friend and a gifted knifemaker, but his name will remain always on the Badlands banner in tribute to one of the best of our kind."

I have 3 Simonich knives and he was a great guy to talk to , softspoken, great knives. A real loss to all of us.
