Hey Jerry,
Are you related to Robert Busse. He was considered to be the most dangerous man with a blade in the world. He is like a Ninjutsu instructor and apparently a pretty bad man. Just wondering.

Oh yeah. Jerry if you read this... I really need you to give me a call. Dave has both of my numbers.

I viewed one of Robert Busse's tapes about 5 years ago. He has some really great techniques and some very well thought out approaches on hand to hand combatives. I don't know him personally but doubt that he is related. . . same goes with Henry Busse. . . too bad, I really dig his music.

There is a huge contingency of Busse's from the Chicago area. In fact they supposedly had the largest family reunion in the U.S. This is surprising since there are, I believe the article said, less than 600 Busse families nationwide. . . . hmmm, Sadly, we are not a part of those Busses either and I'm still waiting for my invitation to arrive 3 years later.

My family all comes from the Kentucky clan. Moonshine, Bluegrass, and pretty women

Jerry,
I, in fact, just saw a show on The Travel Channel which featured a short piece covering the Busse Family reunion of which you speak. It took years to organize, and in the end, over 2600 members of the extended Busse family, from six distinct branches of the family tree, living all around the world, descended upon Illinois for the reunion. Everyone in attendance received a T-shirt in one of six different colors to denote the branch to which they belonged. It looked like quite a shindig. I thought for sure those folks were part of your clan.

Actually, there's a forest preserve just outside Hoffman Estates (suburb) previously owned by the/a Busse family. Interesting fact about the Busses and the Chicago region. We actually have quite a few Busses as customers where I work a couple hours from Chicago.
