After a short stay with the fellas over at customs, I finally recieved the knife. I said that I would post my impressions of the knife so here we go.

I believe Robert Hankins designed this knife to be a cross between a hard use knife and a fighter. I haven't done anything hardcore with it, but like I told Robert, it's built like a tank. It's quite thick (1/4 inch I believe) and looks like it would be suitable for prying. Simply put it looks/feels like a glutton for punishment.

I did have a chance to do a little solo knife combatives training with it. I was pleased with the way it handled. The handle offers good blade retention similar to that of a sub-hilt. I can do snap cuts quite well with it (I tried it on some cardboard). Because it's such a thick beast, it will leave a nasty stab wound if used in a self defense scenario.

I was actually looking for a good mid-size combat FB. I can now save my money because this knife has what I was looking for. I'm proud to say that I got Moxie ;)

Thanks again Robert.
