Was able to purchase this old Robeson knife storage box off that large auction site for about $11. I was just curious if the crew here had an idea of the year?

I'm assuming this is from one of the kitchen/cutlery sets that Robeson made. From some of the pics I've seen, some of their cutlery sets were pretty nice. Would have been a fine gift for a wedding or whatever.

I just thought it'd make a nice box for my Robeson pocket knives. I had to put a few of them in there for effect. :)

Looks like something for a carving set Joe, does that make sense?

I'm thinking you're likely correct. Too bad the carvers aren't in it too. Lol.

I come across quite a lot of carving sets ;) Being trying to post one to Duncan in NZ for the past fortnight, severely hampered by the British postal service :grumpy:

Wow - Thats Super cool - that to me is quite a neat find - these are only going to disappear now - great stuff -its in the right hands!

VERY NICE Joe:thumbup:I have no historical info but I do know that's a fitting box for your fine knives;)

Great stuff, Joe! That's going to make a fine collection box to open each morning to retrieve you daily carry. Great work.
