Hello,
I am trying to identify the model of this vintage knife. I have use it for many years on small game and birds and it has served me well until I one day broke the blade. I would really like to try to track down another. I have done quite a bit of searching and was not able to find it online. I appreciate any help you may be able to provide.

Welcome to Bladeforums starnaski.

It says " ROBT KLAAS", which is short for Robert Klaas, the owner of a German knife company.

It does not match any traditional pattern with which I am familiar.

Robert Klaas is the maker
Rost frei means stainless.

Going to move this to the Traditional forum.

I don't see a picture, just a Microsoft Word work sheet guide......
Maybe use a picture host that actually will show a viewable picture?

Also can't see any pictures. We can't tell you much if we can't see the knife.

After WWII there were a lot of German makers out of Solingen pumping out a lot of inexpensive very similar knives. My favorite knife is an old K. Tragbar from that period. It is not a valuable knife, but meaningful to me.

There often isn't a lot to be known about those small makers. If you want another made by the same guy, you are probably best off looking on that auction website we don't mention by name here on BladeForums.
