Robo-Assist question

I just recieved a Dominator in a trade and the Robo-assist doesn't open the knife completly. When I use the flipper to start opening, it opens the blade about 3/4 the way open and I have to move the blade to the lock position by hand. Is this normal? Is this just a matter of loosening the pivot screw a bit? I was under the impression that the assist would take it all the way to lock position.

yes it should take it all the way to the locked position. try losening the bolt its worth a try.

Thanks for the help. The pivot seems loose enough, but not too loose. I used a degreaser and cleaned the mechanism then blew compressed air to dry it, then I sprayed some greasless lubricant into it and let that dry and now it seems to be fine.
