Robo assisted folders ?????

I have the Heat. It's a little stiff to open but it is solid. I like it. AUS8 is fine for me and it rides back-up to my Manix.

Heat has been my EDC for more than a year now. Only good things to say about it.

GET ONE WHILE YOU CAN!

You can tweak the blade pivot screw. Some have been cranked down, their not made to be cranked! A little bump counter clockwise will do wonders.

Swishhhhh got love those Heats.

excellent knife for the prices they were selling on the net... about $50. at the prices that one store had on closeout, they were a steal!

the HEat has one of the most positive assisted openings that i have tried. the steel is good quality, not the best, but very good and easy to sharpen. the handles are very comfortable in the hand. if you get one, get two, they are that good for the price IMHO.

I just received a Heat, and I am very impressed! It is a very usable size and I like the ergonomics. The fit and finish is very good and the knife feels very solid. I like it a lot.

I edc'd a blaze for over a year, and when I saw the Heat on sale for $19.99 I was done. It is alot beefier than the blaze, and super slick action. These are good knives.

I just got a Heat in a trade,very sweet knife.Solid lock-up and good grip.It's a keeper.

i'd love to get a heat safety (seatbelt/rope) knife... when prices are right :)

they look GOOD. unless someone can reccy a better safety type knife?

jthomas....I posted that news two weeks ago....they sold out then seem to have more in now......I bought 12 plain edge and 6 combo edge in two orders and two sizzles......a lifetime supply for sure.....lol

Ok, I ordered a couple. For $20 I'll take the chance, based on all the positive comments and the Camillus name. I've been looking for something for a friend and this looks like it might be just the thing. Of course I needed to get one for myself too. He likes knives but doesn't have any. Without spending too much, this should give him the chance to appreciate a solid folder, or not. I try not to assume people will enjoy knives as much as I do--which is hard.

kiov, let me know if you like them. They were very good knives at $50+ but they are GREAT knives at $20.......You could sell them very easy for a profit if you did not like them for some reason.....

Ok, I should have them in a week or so. I like to give a knife a few days before judging it. Some grow on me, while others seem good at the start, and then I notice stuff that I don't like as I carry them awhile.

I'm glad you think they are a bargain at that price. It feels good to get a deal sometimes.

I wonder whats going on with that much of a price difference?

With the issues going on at Camillius I am assume that SMKW bought them very discounted on a close out sale.
