Roc Cleaver

Hey BF,

I'm drawn to this knife, but honestly I wonder how useful the design actually is.

Can anyone provide their experiences with this knife and thoughts on how it functions as an EDC? Light duty EDC at that.

I'm staying within a budget so I'd have to sell something to fund it so any and all thoughts are welcome.

Also, any other Cleaver style blades worth checking out?

Hmmmm, by the lack of responses, I can make an educated guess on the overall usefulness of the Roc.

I was at one point sort of interested in the Roc, but the price along with the aforementioned lack of feedback on it turned me off. I've since moved past wanting a pocket cleaver.

I've been tempted also, I think it looks interesting. As always though, I can't buy every knife I like, or I'd be broke.

I have one, it doesn't get much pocket time. The cool factor is very high, but at the end of the day it carries big and doesn't have the functionality of something like a Delica or PM2.

I've always thought the Roc was cool, but not $170 cool. That's PM2 sprint/exclusive money.

Make the Roc in a 3V equivalent and I would be all over it though.

Its a fun design, I'd like to own one, most of my personal knife budget has gone towards fixed blades lately however.

it's it's not that practical, but it's definitely a fun knife to own. I love handling it, and everybody around me is interested in it when I break it out. I love it.
