Roc looks awesome... although I don't know if it's functional. Seems like it'd take up a lot of pocket space and I can't imagine actually using a small folding knife for hacking....

Cutting cheese, apples, minor food prep tasks, opening small packages/boxes, shaving? Idk, basically what any other EDC knife is used for. Just because it's lacking a sharp point doesn't mean it's not practical.

IMO it can be used for cutting just like any knife..... That design of blade for pocket carry has been around forever. Remington knives,Tom Anderson, Jason Clark and many others have all designed such style blades. I own and have carried them without
any extra space being taken up in my pocket..... And lest i forget the Rob Dalton Roper.... its almost identical in blade design to the ROC except its a full auto beauty!

I really like razor style blades as well as Wharncliffe and any derivations. Simple design and easy to maintain an edge. Probably goes back to when I started trapping about 40 years ago and used nothing other than a single edged razor blade on a handle for all of my processing. All goes back to what you know as far as to what preferences develop.

Aside from actual practical applications, I'm sure it'll sell well on looks alone :D a good chunk of knife buyers aren't knife users too, and would buy it because it looks nice.

It was designed for people who live in <400 square foot apartments in Manhattan, who because of space saving considerations, a full size cleaver would take up space where a fridge would go.;)

Hopefully BladeHQ doesn't mind but I felt like this thread was missing something.

While I'm not completely sure about the intended purpose, I think someone could totally use the sharpened edge of the blade to cut things...
