I had this dagger at the Arkansas show.

Handle is carved mild steel with French greyed finish. The background is 100% inlaid with 22k gold wire. Inlay is blue tiger eye.

Blade is 4 bar Turkish twist .

At the show the handle had a blued finish on the carving, but it blended with the stone too much. The dagger's owner brought it to my attention, and I agreed, so here she is with a new look.

Hope you enjoy!!

Not really a fan of the dagger but...

this one is absolutely STUNNING

Beautiful work and congrats to the new owner.

I don't know what it looked like before but it is extraordinary now!

The carving on the handle is exquisite.

Sick, man!!!! So how goes the .22 double rifle?

Roccoco is one of my least favorite artistic movements/aesthetics, (but it is my wife's favorite- go figure:D)however that has no bearing on my admiration of your dagger, Bailey.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. Glad y'all are enjoying it.

Joe,

ask and you shall receive. The 22 double is coming along. I have the locks put together, and the trigger group fitted. Here are a couple of shots.

Will,

I saw it at Little Rock, it was beautiful then, but the French Grey does make the deep carving stand out more...more better..

Round action..........mmmmmmmm. So once you get this one done, are you going to start that one in .470 NE?:D I know that you told me the type of action that you based this one on, but I forgot.

That dagger is unreal. I've been trying to come up with superlatives to describe it since you first posted, but have failed repeatedly.

As for the 22 double, it looks like it's going to be fantastic, but whatever happened to the single-shot? Did I miss a "finished" pic somewhere? ;)
