Just curious if anyone has tried a rock creek higo nokami? Seem to be along the lines of a svord peasant..Anyone know anything about em'?

A double blade friction folder...that is unique.

Personally I'd prefer the authentic Japanese higonokami. They're not really more expensive and I know the carbon steel will work very well.

I found some of the authentic ones you mentioned later..I just have a thing for primitive designs I guess..

Looks like a nice knife. I carry a Japanese Higo knife on a fairly regular basis, and one of the things I like very much is how thin and pocketable it is. The Rock Creek one is bulkier, kind of reminds me of those folding Allen wrench tools, but it's a nice combination of blade styles, with good specs, and a somewhat novel thumb tang configuration. They had two versions, one with stag scales and one with bamboo scales. I'd buy one if I could find one for a reasonable price.
