Just ran into a buddy and we had several Rock Superbowl/Florida World Music Festival flashbacks from Orlando's Citrus Bowl:

April 14, 1979
Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, Cheap Trick, Brownsville Station

July 5, 1980
ZZ Top, Rossington Collins Band, Pat Travers Band, Triumph, & Point Blank

April 18, 1981
Heart, Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult, UFO. (OMG! Heart played Led Zepplin's "Rock and Roll" as a tribute to John Bonham's death. Just as the song started Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen came back on stage with a double-neck guitar to play. Magic like that just doesn't happen anymore).

That is an amazing list. I would consider any one of those to be the concert of a lifetime. Always fun to remember the old days with the friends that you spent them with.

Yes, the music half time show isnt what it used to be, but those are some amazing memories brutha:cool:

These werent 1/2 time shows but rather a few of the most memorable concerts that I was fortunate enough to see.

Steve Miller opened for the Dead at RFK in DC right after the skins built FEDEX field. Center field bout 20 yrd line. IT was awesome. I remember folks taking pieces of the field home:D

Santana opened for Eric Clapton in DC in MCI center bout 10 years ago or so. View from Washington Post suites with free beer, wine, and food was out of this world:)

Many country music fest at Fedex and whats now Jiffy Lube live ampitheather too with George Strait, TIm McGraw, Faith Hill, Shanai Twain and many others.... Aerosmith, Lynard Skynard

but the worst concert memory has to be.....missing Faith Hill and back stage passes to see Faith Hill in MCI center with my 2nd cousin singing back up:eek: I brought my neighbors too:(

We were about 15minutes late, and evidently my passses and tickets had been taken at will call. My cousin was on stage so I couldnt reach her by phone. I got a call later that night and my cousin was like what happened?:(
