the axe I probably regret not getting the most is a flint edge rockaway. it was buy it now for a really good price, so I clicked it, but then paused for a minute for some reason and by the time I clicked to purchase - someone else had snagged it. why did I pause? oh well.

the only rockaway I have is an old McKinnon - I've seen several, and considered a few of them, but never pulled the trigger. This was a couple years ago when axes were going for about half or less than what they are now - its amazing how much axe prices have gone up in just a couple years. I'd never be able to replace the axes I have now.

When I saw how much energy former owner put into welding and re-welding his Rocky (He owned bunch of different axes) I knew right away they were special kind of breed. I keep looking for them. It doesn't matter how worn out or beat up they are they deserve to be preserved and end up following me home.

I found this one, in person, and its the only one I've seen. Price was along the lines of a yard sale double bit.....I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough!

Hey M muleman77 :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Love the swell on the handle...nice one.
I think my Flint Edge was comparable to yours in cost.
Not a yard sale, but similar ;) Local and no shipping. Just a 12 pack every now and then :D
