Just picked up this little Rockaway for $5. Would love to see what others have. It's a very distinctive shape.

post 'em up.

I never see any around here. Michigans, Daytons, and once in a while a Jersey is all I see in single bits here.

This one was salvaged before it went into the dumpster. Sat around my basement for a couple of years before I developed an interest in axes. Finally cleaned it up and discovered it was made by McKinnon.
Would like to hang it on an original style handle and put it on a wall eventually.
I don't know the history of your axe- stamping looks similar.

Thanks to Square_peg for identifying this one for me. This might be my new favorite axe:

Wait a minute, is this a Rockaway? It isn't flat like my idea of a Jersey. (the middle one)

A Rockaway is a variant of a Jersey (Rockaway is in Jersey). A typical Rockaway has rounded lobes or ears or whatever you want to call them and often the bottom side of the axe is curved from the eye to the heel. Im's axe has that classic curve between the eye and the heel. Different makers fixed the Rockaway name to different variations.
