Hi Rich. :)

I've never heard of them. More info please.

Im confused????

I thought this was the Custom & Handmade knife forum!

Come on Stabber you know better than to bring that "Stuff" here.

I had the guy next to me at the NYCKS 2007.

I was amazed that he was asking $900 for a knife with an aluminum handle.

Once again, why is this still in the custom knife forum...it is a factory knife (the aluminum handle would be your first clue).

Moderators cannot be everywhere all the time. If you see something inappropriate, you can use the "report post" button to notify us, it's the triangle with an exclamation point next to the post number.

I will move this to The Gallery.

Thats a couple of nice knives there.
They make some of the best laminate blades iv seen but they sure are priced heavy.

For those people who did'nt go to both N.Y.C. Custom knife shows Rockstead had a table at both shows. All day the man is demonstrating the cutting ability of the folders. He cuts 1" rope (the blade cuts through on 1 slice), then he hacks away on a hard bamboo stick, and then slices through paper like a razor. I was watching him for at least 30 min. and I never saw him sharpen any knife. The finish looked like a mirrored black. The fit & finish wre excellent. I really liked the frame locked ones.

Oh.

I always assumed Rockstead were custom knives, considering the price.

Seriously. I'm not being sarcastic.

I just checked out the site. I wouldn't trust a framelock made of Al... just me.
