Do it, I don't have tons of experience but I've been carrying mine for about 5 months now and have ZERO issues or complaints
I don't have a lot of money but believe me, I'm saving up to buy another at some point, probably a TEI, or SHIN

Until hsc comes along and drops some heavy pictures, let this suffice

OK I'll bite. Aren't they guaranteed for life?

As far as I can tell, they are. The only thing I see them requiring you to do is pay for shipping back and forth to Japan.

I know I've seen at least one reground blade from them that looked perfectly fine, I think the guy had a few significant chips in the blade and they ground them right out and polished it up slick looking, I'll see if I can find it
