Thinking about picking one up to add to my daily rotation. I have watched as many videos as I can and have learned a decent amount, but I would like to hear from you guys (where I have learned most of what I know) as far as pros and cons go. So what do you think?
For EDC use,
Pros,
Cons?
Thanks in advance.

I knew the rest, but not too slicy I guess?
I like slicy...
Maybe I should pass on it?

They aren't horrible but not as slicey as an Endura or something thinner with a full flat grind. The mirror polish helps aid in cutting performance, but for a knife prized for it's geometry and excellent heat treat, it doesn't cut better than other options that are significantly cheaper.

If you're buying a (roughly) $1,000 Rockstead for it's craftsmanship, I think you'll be completely satisfied. However, if you're thinking it's going to be the best cutting tool ever, you may be underwhelmed.

For what its worth, I do think they are worth the price of admission. They are a luxury good, its as simple as that.

Thanks guys. Yes - I am definitely a full flat grind enthusiast, but I am happy with my mostly flat 555 - 1 and my more flat than hollow small inkosi. I'm sure I'll be fine with the grind of the rockstead if I get it. Thanks again - I will let you guys know if I pull the trigger on it.

Action is super smooth. Blade is beautiful. Handle looks good. But I think the handle is too lightweight. It felt kind of off in my opinion. Like if it had a regular titanium handle I think I would have liked it a lot better. But I think it’s like titanium and aluminum so it’s lighter.
