rockstead knife,any experience ?

Can anyone have experience of using japanese rockstead knife which made of zdp-189 sandwich with ats 34?
 
they were doing some demo in their desk during a knives show in Paris last year (batoning a big bamboo then cuting paper...) it was quite impressive !:D
then we ask the price... and it was quite impressive also :eek:

quite normal that caly Jr win, as his blade is much thiner than the others.

thx for information.
as the price of rockstead is about usd700.
it is better to choose fallkniven tk4 which are cheaper about usd 80.
 
These are Russians, just like me ))
I've had a word with one of them, and his explanation was that Rockstead had overpolished edge, not enough toothy for that kind of cutting.
