Rockstead Knives

I have been looking at some of the nicer Reeve and Rockstead knives for my next folder. I'm most interested in the Rockstead knives though. I have owned a couple dozen Reeve knives and zero Rockstead blades. I am open to both positive and negative comments about Rockstead knives, I like the 3.5 DLC coated version in particular.
 
I have owned several Rocksteads (from a Higo to a Shin to a Tei) and, while they are incredibly sharp, I feel they are brittle and overpriced.

Wondering if you have ever chipped an edge? It makes sense that it might be brittle due to its hardness, but just wondering if it's ever happened.

I have several Rocksteads arriving tomorrow, and I plan on carrying and using them -well, at least one to start.
