I ordered mine direct from Japan, transaction experience was without parallel!

Rockstead is indeed worthwhile to have first hand feel to appreciate!

A beautiful knife. And you know it's genuine. "Shin" 信　means trust or belief. I guess this is a knife you can trust.

Had a Shin in YXR7. Does not get any nicer at 2x-3x the price (customs). Literally the sharpest out of the box knife I have handled. Solid, smooth, sharp and rare. Don't be afraid to use it hard. Congrats!!
 
Beauty knife!
Good friend of mine just got his Shin in the mail today. He told me it's by far the sharpest knife he has ever handled and also one of the most elegant. He is already looking at his next Rockstead purchase!!! Hoping to hope on the pre-order for the new Rockstead Sinkevich collaboration Shun-ZDP he is.
