Hello,

I have a question. ZT admittedly ran their 0560CBCF S110V at 59 HRC. Since the 0888 is a combination blade of
S110V, will they have to run it at the same HRC because of the copper connecting the steels?

Thanks to all.

The brazing material was what limited the RC numbers on all of KAI's composite knives, the 0888 is no different.

Thanks 2 shot. I guess the edge retention of the 0888 will be identical to the 0560CBCF, all other things being equal.

It's an interesting blade-steel. Very interesting, with great potential.
I'm still waiting...

It is a great steel. One thing to note is that when it's pegged into the 62 range, it's amazing how long the edge lasts.
