Rocky Mountain Cutlery is/was in Berthod, Colorado. The website that they had in late 1999 stopped working after Christmas. I hope they're still around. They make knives using some old equipment from Western Cutlery's Boulder, CO plant.

They make some real solid 1095 alloy hunting knives at exceptional prices. They also have a couple stainless models.

I believe the company you are talking about is called Colorado Cutlery and they are located in Berthoud, Colorado (about 20 minutes north of Boulder). They are still in business, I see them at Denver area gun shows all the time.
