Hiked the 5 miles to the Idaho Expo Center to check out the Rocky Mountain Knife Show this afternoon. Headed up to northern Idaho to work over the weekend so I had to spend my budgeted 200 dollars today. Unfortunately, Chris Harper hadn't showed up, so I didn't get to meet him, which was my main goal, but there was no shortage of great people there with some spectacular ideas and amazing talent. I bought a beautiful skinner from a local obsidian knapper, and a perfect little Bromley 1084/hickory necker. Stopped at the dive bar of choice to watch the Broncos/Vandals game on the way home-all in all, not a bad Friday. Man, I'll be dreaming about some of these knives for weeks...
