Ok Guys
Here it is, the first pics of the project (by me). I printed the hanshee out to scale. Used it as a template to layout the khuk. Cut the pattern out of 1/4" oak. I don't have any 1/2" or I would use that but I am working on it. I do need some input. The khuk does seem a bit narrow to me. I have nothing to judge by in the pics that I have. I need suggestions on handle thickness, shape, ect. By a rule of thumb I draw my handles on a 1/4 rule, i.e if a handle is 1" wide (front to back) I make the width 3/4", makes a nice oval shape for the hand. I can modify the blade width at the belly and width of the handle, make suggestions. Have a great weekend guys
. And try and stay warm
